Our Story:
A few years back, I was invited to work with the M&M cartoon characters – developing concepts and illustrating a variety of projects. Through that experience I learned how cartoon characters were super-powerful brand-building tools.  Then I found myself developing a variety of characters for other clients - each time with great success.

Owning a full-service ad agency, I found the cartoon characters extremely versatile, easy-to-work-with, and effective. It’s amazing how the cartoon character always seemed to get reactions like “oooh – I love him!” or “He’s so cute!” What more could you really want from a marketing tool! Enthusiasm. Affection. Loooooove!

In 2005 I came up with the idea for TOONS4BIZ. I wanted to give businesses everything they need to develop a strong brand around a cartoon mascot. Think of it as a cartoon brand building campaign in a bucket.

Currently we offer more than 90 different characters, and each one has it’s own clipart set and in some cases, animations.

Stephanie is our illustrator and point person for TOONS4BIZ. She just recently had her first baby – Zayden. Ask her how incredibly cute he is.

June is our “Vice President of All Things Wonderful.” In other words – she cuts the pay checks and keeps the lights on.  

Greg is our Web guru. He does all the whizzy techno-things on our Web site.

I (Dave Thompson) am the wink and smile behind each character. Walt Disney was my hero growing up, so being able to do this for a living is a special treat for me.

We actually do a lot more than cartoons. The main part of our business is a full-service ad agency. We do Web sites, catalogs, brochures, corporate identity, ad campaigns, and a whole bunch of other stuff for our clients. We’d be glad to help YOU with our other services as well.
